About Shape Society Health Initiative

A society where every individual achieves optimal health through knowledge, prevention, and collective action.

Our Story

Organization History

Founded in 2021, Shape Society Health Initiative (SSHI), formerly known as Shape African Health, is a registered non-governmental and non-political organisation focused on improving public health outcomes through youth engagement, capacity development, and community action. SSHI empowers young health professionals through training, debates, peer research writing, and sustainable interventions that promote healthier societies. Over the past five years, we have partnered with ministries of health, universities, and community organisations to design programmes that are evidence-driven and community-owned.
