Research Fellowship programme Cohort 2
From One Question to Community Impact: The Shape Society Health Intiatives Returns This August
Amina was in her 3rd year of Public Health when she noticed something in her community.
Teenage girls were missing school every month. The reason? No access to menstrual products and no one talking about it.
She had the question. She had the concern. What she didn’t have were the tools to turn that concern into evidence that could drive change.
That’s the gap the Shape Society Health Initiatives Research Fellowship Programme was built to fill.
This August, we’re opening doors again for the next generation of young researchers who see problems in their communities and want to do something about them. Research That Goes Beyond the Classroom to real life hands on experience.
It’s learning how to:
1. Ask the right research questions and design studies that matter
2. Collect and analyze data and turn it into real evidence
3. Write proposals and reports that get attention from decision-makers
4. Communicate findings through academic writing, presentations, and community engagement
All of this, with mentorship from experienced researchers and a community of other young people passionate about health and social change.
Who Is This For?
If you are a:
- Student or graduate in Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields
- Early-career health professional
- Young person passionate about community development and solutions
- Someone who wants practical research experience and guidance
...then this fellowship is for you. Whether it’s your first research project or your fifth, you’ll leave with stronger skills and a network.
Research shouldn’t end with a PDF that no one reads.
At Shape Society, we train fellows to ask: Who is affected? What does the data tell us? How do we turn this into action?
Because the goal is healthier communities. Stronger programs. Better policies. Researchers who can connect evidence to real people in real time.
Join Us This August.
The future of public health will be shaped by young people willing to ask difficult questions and seek answers.
If that’s you, the Shape Society Health Initiatives Research Fellowship Programme is your next step.
Your question could become the evidence that changes a policy.
Your research could shape society.
